In this abstract piece, I invite you on a deeply personal journey. A journey that takes me back to my roots in Gundungurra country. It's an exploration that weaves itself through the tapestry of my lineage, a lineage marked by the strength and wisdom of the women who came before me.

I think of my aunties and grandmothers, their faces etched with stories of our past. Their lives, their experiences, their wisdom - these are the song lines that have been passed down through generations, shaping us into who we are today.

At the heart of this artwork is the arch, a symbol that represents self. It's more than just a shape; it's a testament to our individuality, our identity, our essence. It's a mirror reflecting our innermost selves, a window revealing the depths of our spirits.
