Ferns and Fish

Description

This artwork was created to show the large gatherings that would happen a few times a year on Gundungurra country. These gatherings were done to harvest the ferns that were farmed by the rivers, people would hunt for fish and enjoy the feast!

Medium: This painting has been created using both earth pigments and acrylic mediums. It has been worked to create a textured crackle effect through the backround. Semi gloss varnish applied.

Exterior frame: Handcrafted eucalyptus hardwood frame, clear matt varnish applied.
