This artwork celebrates the great trade route that passes from the Blue Mountains down into Sydney and beyond. The highway from Sydney to the Blue Mountains region actually follows the original ancient trade route of our people. The circles represent different camps and communities along the trade route, and the small clusters of dots represents both connection and diverse stories and song lines that exist amongst our people.
